Chi Rho is the
fellowship group for those in grades
6, 7, and 8. Tina DeJane is their Adult Advisor.
These energetic teens meet monthly for fellowship and
study as well as lunch after worship. They make and deliver
gifts for homebound members of the congregation.
These activities,
as well as attendance, stewardship and
service are part of the "Camp Standards" program which
enables Chi Rhoers to "earn" one half of the cost of
a week
at Camp Christian during the summer.
During Advent
the youths bake cookies to add to the plates
of goodies and fruit baskets which are taken to homebound
members of the church. Also, they sponsor an evening of
caroling to the homes of several of the congregation's
older members.
