Busy Hands Ministry
Genevieve
Zavasky, through her compassion and love for those less fortunate, started Busy Hands a few years ago. Our purpose is
to supply hats, scarves, and mittens to grade school children in Massillon who have none. We also make lap afghans for
people in nursing homes and homeless shelters.
On February 13, 2009, Genevieve went home to be with our Lord.
We know she would want this ministry to continue. In order for that to happen, we need your help.
If anyone,
women, men, or teens has the talent to crochet or knit - or would like to learn, we would love to have you join us.
Don't have this talent or desire to learn this craft? We could use any donations of yarn or a small monetary gift.
Our meetings will be the last Monday of the month, starting March 30, from 7-9 p.m. at the church. If you would rather
crochet or knit at home, yarn can be picked up at the church. If you have any questions, contact Marie Baker or Darlene
Berquist.
Please join us in keeping this ministry going. You will feel so blessed helping someone less fortunate.
Thank you and God bless you.
