Journey through the New Testament
Please join us as we read through and study the New
Testament in 2010. Reading schedules are provided in the foyer. Each day you will have a chapter or perhaps only a half of
a chapter to read. Please spend time praying and allow God to speak to you. Also about three days a week the pastor will put
a new blog/meditation entry which goes along with the readings. The sermons on Sunday will also follow along with the readings.
If you wish to check out the pastor’s blog go to the home page and click on Pastor Brown's picture.
Pastor's Adult Sunday
School Class In the Parlor, 9:30 a.m.
Adults looking for a Sunday School
class are welcome to join Pastor Brown in the Parlor as together we use the study guide, "Until He Comes".
This is a challenging look at how we as Christians should live knowing that one day Christ will return. How should this
affect our lives and our witness into the world? Please come and join us.
 Fish Dinners from 4:30
- 7 p.m.
The Lenten Fish Dinners
will be each Friday with March 26, being the last one. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under.
Children under 4 are free.
This year we have added shrimp and hot rice to the menu, along with fried or
baked fish, baked potato or macaroni and cheese, cole slaw or applesauce, dessert and drink.
10% of the proceeds
will be going to the Children of Promise International Orphanage in Haiti. More information is available at the dinners.
If you would like to volunteer your help or if you can supply a dessert, please talk to Jeri Emig or sign up in the
foyer.
