Appreciation Dinner

Jeri Emig has invited all Fish Dinner volunteers to a special appreciation dinner on January 29, following the worship service.  This appreciation dinner is for all volunteers, if you served, cooked, cleaned up or made desserts.  If you had any part of the fish dinners, you're invited.  Jeri will be serving lasagna and a salad bar.  Jeri appreciates all the volunteers and their hard work and dedication.  Without the volunteers we wouldn't be able to do our Fish Dinners each Lenten season.  So come and enjoy the good food and fellowship.  Please put your reservation on the pew pad or call the church office at 330-833-8559.

Ash Wednesday Service
February 22, 7:00 p.m.
Grace United Church of Christ

This year the combined Ash Wednesday service with Grace UCC and St. John's UCC, will be held at Grace UCC, 933 Main Ave. West.  Rev. Jeff Shultz from St. John's will provide the message.  Come join our friends as we focus our hearts on the love and sacrifice of Christ.  Following the service there will be a fellowship time with cookies and drinks.

Fish Dinners
Starting February 24

Our first dinner will be on February 24.  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.  Last years' profits helped pay for our new roof.

If you are able to help with the dinners this year, let Jeri Emig know of your interest in helping.  February will be here before you know it so we need to start planning.  Also, a big thank you to Jeri Emig for her willingness to run these dinners again this year.

Two New Members

On November 27, we received new member Carol Neff into our family.  Please welcome her and make her feel like a part of our church family.

On December 18, we received the Confession of Faith and also baptized Luke Davis during our 10:30 a.m. worship.  Luke has been attending for a few months and has already been involved in many activities here.  Welcome Luke!

Family Fun Night

On February 18, from 5-9 p.m. we will be enjoying another Family Fun Night.  There will be corn hole, volley ball and games. Bring a friend and come enjoy the fun and fellowship.
